In the 6 years my mother has been a resident, she has been well looked after and cared for. Hallgarth Care Home provides Nursing, Residential, and Palliative care. Although many things have had to change recently, the warmth of our welcome and standards of care have not.

Organised activities will focus on helping residents maintain their health and wellbeing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are the cornerstone of daily life at Hallgarth. We place importance on protecting residents meal-times as good nutrition and hydration are key to staying well. Our daily menu always offers a choice of at least 2 dishes for each meal time and individual dietary requirements are always catered for. Family members of residents are very welcome to ‘book-in’ and join us for a meal. We run a busy activities programme so residents are never without something to do, including themed days, poetry club, visiting entertainers, and day trips out, often to the Beamish Museum.
